Community Involvement
UGI Utilities, Inc., recognizes that solid corporate citizenship is reflected in both our words and deeds. Consequently, it is through top-level management endorsement as well as employee volunteer effort that UGI actively supports a number of worthwhile causes. These include Scouting, United Way, Easter Seal Society and March of Dimes, and local Chambers of Commerce.
Our primary energies, however, are devoted to improving the quality of the public school system. Since community development is synonymous with economic growth, UGI views education as the key link in bolstering the vitality of both our business and the communities we serve. Well-educated students become well-educated employees, customers, and civic and community leaders.
Since 1989, UGI has been an active advocate of education reform and improvement on national, state and local levels.
UGI frequently receives requests for donations and contributions from non profit organizations. To facilitate the request process, we have developed a form which must be completed by all organizations requesting over $250.
