OPERATION SHARE
Operation SHARE provides emergency financial aid to pay heating bills for families with financial hardships. UGI Central Penn Gas was one of the first utilities to establish a fuel fund for customers in need. Operation SHARE is funded by customers, employees and UGI Central Penn Gas.
The Dollar Energy Fund administers Operation Share. A network of community-based agencies processes applications for aid from families with financial hardships because of unemployment, disabilities, large medical expenses and other reasons.
