CUSTOMER PROTECTION ACT
The Responsible Utility Customer Protection Act, which is known as Act 201 or Chapter 14, makes new rules to help utilities keep costs down. These rules apply to collecting money on past-due accounts, deposits, payment agreements and service accounts that have been shut off.
This Act does not affect the large majority of our customers who pay their bills on time.
