UGI Penn Natural Gas offers a diversified natural gas rate structure
to meet the particular needs of each company. Contact the Account
Rep in your area to discuss specific rate options.
Rate GS (General Services - Non-Residential)
Rate GTS (General Service - Non-Residential Transportation)
Typical Customer Usage: GS up to 200 Mcf per year
and GTS up to 10,000 Mcf per year
These firm rates are for small volume commercial, industrial, and
municipal customers who use natural gas for any purpose. Service
on these rates is provided year-round.
Rate AC (General Service - Commercial and Industrial Air
Conditioning)
Typical Customer Usage: Up to
10,000 Mcf per year
This firm rate is for commercial and industrial customers who use
natural gas for space cooling. Service on these rates is provided
for the April through October billing periods. UGI Penn Natural
Gas offers free feasibility assessments of natural gas cooling
applications and rebates for installations.
Rate AF (Alternate Fuel)
Typical
Customer Usage: Varies due to size of customer classified as having
Alternate Fuel Capabilities
This
rate will be available to existing commercial and industrial Customers
with alternate fuel capability whenever, and to the extent, that
the Company, in it sole discretion, determines that it has gas
available from its suppliers that will enable it to sell gas under
this Schedule AF. For the purposes of this schedule, alternate
fuel means any fuel other than natural gas or coal. UGI Penn
Natural Gas will elect a Maximum Daily Transportation Quantity
(MDQ) and a service agreement of no less than twelve months is
required.
Rate FTS (Firm Transportation Service)
Typical Customer Usage: In Excess of 10,000 Mcf per
year
This firm transportation rate is for larger volume municipal, commercial,
and industrial customers who use gas for any purpose. The customer
must elect a Maximum Daily Transportation Quantity (MDQ) and a
service agreement of no less than twelve months is required.
