A New Year, New Resolutions!

27 Dec 2019

As we make our way into a new year, consider making some new resolutions – the energy kind! These don’t even require eating more vegetables and less sugar or hitting the gym every day.

STAY SAFE. Nothing is more important than safety. UGI wants to ensure our customers know the smell of natural gas and can be prepared for any kind of emergency. Did you know natural gas is odorless, so a chemical called mercaptan is added to make it smell like rotten eggs? If you smell gas at any time, call UGI at 800-276-2722. Visit www.ugi.com/gassafety for more tips all year long!

GO PAPERLESS. You can help the environment by using UGI’s Online Account Center. When you go paperless, you can set up recurring payments, review usage and billing history, update your personal and bank information, and eliminate paper bills! Check out all the details at www.ugi.com/ebill.

BECOME ENERGY EFFICIENT. At UGI, we’re dedicated to delivering the highest levels of efficiency options and savings to customers. UGI offers fantastic rebates to help homeowners save even more when they switch equipment to energy-efficient models. For a full list of rebates, visit www.ugi.com/homerebates.

REDUCE YOUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS. If you need immediate assistance this winter, you could be eligible for LIHEAP, the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program. For energy saving year-round, you could qualify for reduced energy bills through UGI’s Low-Income Usage Reduction Program (LIURP), which could make your home safer and more efficient, while saving you money. Approved customers receive an in-home energy usage evaluation, which could include improvements to your insulation or equipment, such as system repairs or installation of carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. Find all the information you need about our customer assistance programs at www.ugi.com/assistance.
