Emergency Relief Program Phase Two

Phase One of the UGI Utilities Emergency Relief Program expired on December 31, 2020. Due to the continued impact of COVID-19, UGI has filed for  Phase Two of the Emergency Relief Program, which is pending approval with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Even if you were approved for Phase One of the Emergency Relief Program, you may still be eligible to receive a grant for past due balances through April 30, 2021. The program will consist of two components to help qualifying customers in Pennsylvania with their outstanding energy bills during the COVID-19 Pandemic:

Installment Plan

For Residential and Business Customers
Enrollment in this plan will allow you to spread your outstanding UGI balance over a period of time. This will allow extra time to catch up on your outstanding balance.

One-Time Grant

For Residential Customers Only
A one-time grant of up to $400 for amounts billed for service after March 2020 is available to customers who are eligible.

UGI will not terminate your service if you follow program guidelines and make payments on or before each month’s due date. Since the program will not be implemented until early Spring 2021, customers are encouraged to continue making reasonable monthly payments until the plan begins to help keep your account balance and future payments more manageable.

IMPORTANT: UGI also offers several income-based customer assistance programs that can further ease financial burden for residential customers on a limited income.  If your household income falls at or below 250% of Federal Poverty Levels, please complete our Customer Assistance application here instead of applying for the Emergency Relief Program.
