Flooding/Gas Service Outages – Nescopek
09 Sep 2011
Wilkes-Barre, PA (September 9, 2011) – Approximately 381 UGI Penn Natural Gas customers in Nescopek will be temporarily without gas service due to flood-related damage to UGI’s natural gas distribution system.
Completion of repairs is contingent on flood waters receding to safe level. Once repairs are completed, UGI crews will need access to affected homes in the area to restore service. It is expected this restoration will be completed over the next several days. Additional UGI crews from other areas of the company are also being deployed to assist with the service restoration.
UGI thanks customers for their patience and will restore service as quickly as possible.
