Scheduled Electric Service Interruption

Reading, PA (Thursday, July 22, 2010) – UGI Utilities, Inc. – Electric Division (UGI) will temporarily interrupt electric service to approximately 240 customers in portions of Kingston Borough on Saturday, July 24, 2010. Affected will be those customers on portions of Pierce Street between Gates Street and Warren Avenue, Winola Avenue between Pierce and Chester Streets, Warren Avenue between James and Chester Streets, portions of Reynolds Street between Tioga and Rutter Avenues and portions of Butler Street between Tioga and Rutter Avenues. The scheduled service interruption will begin at 5:30 a.m. and is
expected to be completed by 9:30 a.m.

The interruption will allow UGI employees to upgrade equipment. This upgrade is necessary to continue to meet the electric service needs of the area.

Should weather conditions prevent completion of the work on the scheduled date, UGI will reschedule the service interruption to the same times on Saturday, July 31, 2010.
