UGI Announces Northampton County Construction Project
24 Feb 2021
UGI Utilities, Inc. will begin a natural gas pipeline construction project on March 1, 2021 in Bath, Northampton County. The project will supply natural gas to meet the energy needs of Keystone Cement Company.
UGI will install a new gas main and regulator station to serve the Keystone plant. Most of the construction will take place parallel to the existing railroad right-of-way.
One segment of the project will cross Jacksonville Road. During construction of that segment, residents and commuters traveling through the area are asked to follow the directions provided by posted signs or signaled by flagmen in the construction zone.
Construction will take place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Construction is expected to be completed by July.
