UGI has resolved all equipment issues that impacted natural gas service in the Fairview section of Allentown. UGI personnel are currently in the Fairview neighborhood going door-to-door to turn-on service and re-light appliances
UGI reminds customers that under no circumstances should they attempt to turn on their own natural gas service.
Customers are advised that having an individual on the property able to allow UGI staff entry will speed the service restoration process. If a customer is not home, UGI will leave a card on the door providing contact information.
Customers who cannot be at home and need to communicate special access instructions to UGI are asked to call UGI’s Contact Center at 1-800-276-2722.
UGI is sorry for the inconvenience this natural gas service outage has caused its customers in the Fairview area, and again thanks customers for their continuing patience and understanding.
