UGI Electric Continues to Restore Service to Customers Affected by Storm

UGI Electric crews continue to work to restore service to approximately 1,400 customers who remain without power due to the severe thunderstorms that crossed through the area late Thursday evening. Originally, more than 5,000 customers lost power as a result of the storms.
Most of the current outages are located in Fairmount, Huntingdon, and Union Townships. UGI is responding to nearly 40 separate incidents. The Company hopes to have the majority of customers restored before the end of the day.

If you are a residential customer with special needs and have an emergency, please contact your regional 911 center. Special needs customers calling UGI to report an outage should identify themselves to the customer service representative. If you use a generator during an outage, please make sure it is used safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions on proper venting and operation.
