UGI Electric Working to Restore Service to Customers Affected by Storm -Update: 1:30 p.m.

UGI Electric and contractor crews continue to work to restore service to approximately 3,300 customers who remain without power due to the high winds and severe thunderstorms that crossed through the area early Monday morning. Originally, approximately 12,000 customers lost power as a result of the storms.
The current outages are a result of more than 80 individual incidents. UGI has requested mutual aid from other electric utilities to expedite repairs. Some outages are expected to go into Tuesday.

If you are a residential customer with special needs and have an emergency, please contact your regional 911 center. Special needs customers calling UGI to report an outage should identify themselves to the customer service representative. If you use a generator during an outage, please make sure it is used safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions on proper venting and operation.
