UGI Electric Working to Restore Service to Customers Affected by Storm

02 Mar 2018

UGI Electric crews are working to restore power to approximately 2,200 customers who lost power due high winds and snow that affected the area Friday.

While UGI crews are working to restore power, continuing high winds are expected to impact the region until late in the evening. Additional outages may occur in these conditions, and the winds are hampering restoration efforts.

More information on the storm’s impact on the UGI Electric service territory, as well as locations and numbers of numbers of affected customers, can be found at www.ugi.com/outages.

If you are a residential customer with special needs and have an emergency, please contact your regional 911 center. Special needs customers calling UGI to report an outage should identify themselves to the customer service representative. UGI can provide information to assist you in connecting to your local 911 center. You can contact UGI at (800) 276.2722.

If you use a generator during an outage, please make sure it is used safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions on proper venting and operation.
