UGI Named “Environmental Champion” in National Utility Survey, May 2019

UGI Utilities, Inc. was among 29 utility companies nationwide that were named a 2019 “Environmental Champion” in a recent study by Cogent Reports™, a division of Market Strategies International – Morpace.
This is the second consecutive year that UGI has been named an Environmental Champion.
“Consumers have become more environmentally conscious and now expect the companies they use to share the same concern,” Chris Oberle, senior vice president at Market Strategies International – Morpace, said. “The good news is that our research shows that utilities have responded to these expectations and are being viewed through a more positive environmental lens by their customers.”

Cogent Reports surveyed more than 61,000 residential electric, natural gas and combination utility customers of the 140 largest U.S. utility companies.
