UGI Offers Mint Bills as Additional Electronic Bill-Pay Alternative

01 Jun 2015

UGI Utilities, Inc. has partnered with Intuit’s Mint Bills to offer an alternative digital bill pay method for UGI natural gas and electric customers. The Mint Bills app – which is free and available for download from both the iTunes App Store and the Google Play store –provides a one stop location for consumers to manage all of their bills.

As an incentive to use Mint Bills, UGI and Intuit are offering a sweepstakes with two prizes of $2500 each to encourage customers to download the app and pay their UGI bill. One $2500 prize will be awarded in July, and the second $2500 prize will be awarded in August.  The sweepstakes is open to any customer who uses Mint Bills to pay their UGI bill between June 1, 2015 and July 31, 2015.

Mint Bills keep tabs on a consumer’s bills and monitors bank accounts and credit cards, to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The online bill payment feature, available to both PC and mobile users, makes paying bills convenient and fast. Consumers can connect an unlimited number of bank accounts, credit cards and bills for free, and available cash and credit can be viewed alongside upcoming bills.

UGI customers using Mint Bills will pay a $1.99 fee for debit/credit card payments, which is lower than pricing for other online options. UGI customers can visit http://mintbills.com/ugi to learn more about Mint Bills and the sweepstakes.

“UGI’s customers have informed us they value multiple bill-pay options,” said Robert Stoyko, UGI Vice President of Customer Relations.  UGI recognizes the importance of providing our customers with as many bill pay options as possible and Mint Bills provides a fast, easy option that can be used by customers both on a home computer, as well as away from home on a smartphone.”
