UGI Penn Natural Gas to Conduct Scranton Infrastructure Project on Mulberry and Harrison Streets

READING, PA. December 5, 2014 – UGI Penn Natural Gas (UGI-PNG) will conduct a natural gas main construction project on Monday, December 8 that will impact traffic at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Harrison Avenue in Scranton, PA. The project is expected to be complete, weather permitting, by the end of the workday on Monday.  Construction work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.   

UGI-PNG will have flaggers in the construction area to control traffic. Drivers should be aware of lane closures which will be in effect while work is in progress.  One lane of traffic will be available at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Harrison Avenue.  However, Mulberry Street itself will be closed to traffic from Harrison Avenue to Wheeler Street during the construction period on Monday.
