UGI Receives “Most Trusted Brand” Status in Utility Survey

UGI Utilities, Inc. was among 40 utility companies nationwide that received “Most Trusted Brand” status in a recent study by Cogent Reports, a division of Market Strategies International.

The Cogent Reports Residential Utility Trusted Brand and Customer Engagement study measures such company attributes as reputation and advocacy, customer focus, community support, communication effectiveness, environmental dedication and reliable quality. The Study concluded that nationwide, residential customers’ trust in their local utility has improved, with overall brand trust scores improving significant over 2014.

“Brand trust is the cornerstone of a utility relationship,” Chris Oberle, senior vice president at Market Strategies, said.

“UGI is very pleased to be among the 2015 Most Trusted Brands,” Robert Stoyko, vice president of marketing and customer relations at UGI Utilities, Inc., added. “Our employees work very hard to provide safe and reliable service to our customers every day, and we appreciate the recognition of our efforts.”

Cogent Reports surveyed more than 25,000 residential electric, natural gas and combination utility customers of the 125 largest U.S. companies.
