UGI Restores Service to All Manor Township Customers Affected by Natural Gas Outage

Response Team Stands Down, Company Returns to Normal Operations

UGI – Gas Division completed restoring service to all customers who experienced a natural gas service outage in Manor Township in Lancaster County at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening.

UGI’s natural gas system is currently performing as designed, and no customer outages have been reported.

At this time, UGI is standing down its service outage response team, and has returned to normal operations. UGI thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation as crews restored natural gas service to those affected by this outage. 

UGI also thanks the many municipal officials, emergency management personnel and volunteers who assisted the company and our customers during this outage. Specifically, UGI would like to acknowledge the efforts of the following:

Manor Township officials including the Manor Township Police Department and township manager Barry Smith;

  • The American Red Cross of the Susquehanna Valley professional staff and volunteers;
  • The Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency;
  • Millersville University;
  • The Borough of Millersville;
  • Central Manor Church.
