Response Team Stands Down, Company Returns to Normal Operations
UGI – Gas Division has restored service to all heating customers who experienced a natural gas outage due to an issue with a UGI regulator station. Nearly 1,000 customers were affected by this outage in the Borough of Coplay and Whitehall Township.
Only a handful on non-heating customers remain without natural gas service and UGI continues to make efforts to contact these customers and restore service.
At this time, UGI is standing down its Coplay/Whitehall Township response team, and has returned to normal operations. UGI asks any customers who are still without service and to call 800-276-2722. Under no circumstances should a customer attempt to turn on their natural gas service on their own.
UGI thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation as crews restored natural gas service to those affected by this outage.
