UGI Restores Service to Milford Area Customers Affected by Natural Gas Outage
28 Jan 2022
UGI Utilities, Inc. is completing its efforts to restore service to heating customers who experienced a natural gas outage in Milford Borough, Milford Township, Westfall Township, and Matamoros Borough. Nearly 1,400 customers were affected by this outage.
More than 80 UGI technicians, along with supervisory and support staff, participated in the restoration effort.
UGI has been unable to restore service to a small number of customers because of lack of access or other issues. UGI asks any customers who are still without service to call 800-276-2722. Under no circumstances should a customer attempt to turn on their natural gas service on their own.
UGI thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation as crews restored natural gas service to those affected by this outage.
In addition, UGI would like to thank the many municipal officials and emergency personnel and volunteers who assisted the company and our customers during this outage. Specifically, UGI would like to acknowledge the efforts of the following:
- The Milford Fire Department;
