UGI Utilities, Inc. was recently honored by the Harrisburg-based Bridge Educational Foundation for its gift of more than $16,000 to support scholarships to students in Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
Bridge Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides scholarship opportunities to Pennsylvania’s low-income families. Foundation scholarships allow children to attend the school that best meets their educational needs. The Bridge Educational Foundation enhances academic opportunities for more than 15,000 low-income families statewide.
UGI has supported the Bridge Educational Foundation for the past three years. It is one of more than 60 education-related organizations UGI supports to advance early childhood literacy, promote STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) activities, and encourage career readiness.
