UGI to Conduct Infrastructure Replacement Project in Williamsport

As part of its infrastructure betterment initiative, UGI Penn Natural Gas will begin a natural gas main replacement project in the City of Williamsport starting Monday April 22.
An infrastructure improvement project will be conducted on Fourth Street between Pine and Market streets. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. This phase of the project is expected to last approximately two weeks.
Following completion of the Fourth Street portion of the project, UGI PNG will then proceed to Market Street, working at night from 3rd to North streets. This phase is also expected to take approximately two weeks. One lane of traffic will remain open in both directions during this phase of the project.
This facility betterment project is part of UGI’s commitment to safely deliver energy to our customers and our communities. The new distribution facilities made of contemporary materials will provide improved service to our customers and reduce maintenance issues.
UGI is working with the City of Williamsport to minimize any traffic disruptions in the area during these projects. UGI apologizes for the inconvenience during this project and will work to complete the project in a timely manner.
