(October 15, 2010) – UGI Utilities, Inc., will meet with community-based outreach agency representatives during its 2nd annual Conservation Day and provide information and materials to help agency clients (and UGI customers) save energy and money.
The event – which is open exclusively to the UGI partner agencies – will be held Thursday, October 21, between 8:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Holiday Inn, 604 Station Road, Grantville. Featured will be communication and conservation workshops, a discussion of UGI policies, programs and services, and an energy fair.
Donna Clark, Vice President and General Counsel – Energy Association of Pennsylvania, will serve as keynote speaker.
“The objective of the day is to equip these representatives with necessary resources to educate and assist clients in conserving energy and saving money,’’ said Yvette Belfort, UGI Customer Outreach Supervisor.
During the energy fair, representatives will learn about the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Marcellus Shale, UGI credit and collections policies, customer outreach and weatherization, and other topics.
