UGI Utilities, Inc. – Electric Division (UGI Electric Division) will upgrade a portion of its power distribution line system in Wapwallopen, PA on Wednesday, December 17. The project is part of UGI Electric Division’s continued commitment to provide safe and reliable electric service and to upgrade facilities on a proactive basis. As a result of this work, customers may experience service interruptions between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
The upgrade work will affect customers in the following areas:
In the event of rain or inclement weather, the equipment upgrade work will take place on Thursday, December 18.
While the upgrade work is underway, customers may see their power restored, and then interrupted again as UGI Electric Division contractor crews conduct the project. All customers should have power restored to normal by 1 p.m.
Work areas and any associated roadway lane restrictions will be marked. Residents and commuters driving in the Wapwallopen work areas on December 17 are asked to proceed with caution.
