Reading, PA (December 16, 2011) – UGI Penn Natural Gas is currently upgrading a natural gas line that runs from Shickshinny to Hunlock Creek.
As part of this process, UGI is venting natural gas from the line into the atmosphere. As a result, the odor of natural gas is prevalent in the area. Venting occurred last night and is occurring again for several hours today.
