Elevated Temperature Pipelines

UGI Utilities is responsible for maintaining the natural gas pipes that connect to your business. Each customer is responsible for the maintenance of all customer-owned underground piping. These responsibilities further the safety of all pipelines.

For that reason, UGI plans to evaluate any customer-owned piping that may cause elevated temperature environments below ground within proximity to natural gas lines. Elevated Temperature Pipelines may include buried steam lines, hot water lines and process piping.

To aid our efforts, please complete the form below to inform us of any known/suspected underground steam lines and/or other Elevated Temperature Pipelines on your property.

UGI will review each submission and if necessary, contact you to determine next steps. When needed, UGI will work with you to remediate or relocate natural gas lines.
