UGI Helps Warm Townhomes More Efficiently

Gone are the outdated, inefficient furnaces that once heated 200 homes in Wilkes-Barre.

Instead, the Wilkes-Barre Housing Authority has installed new high-efficiency gas-powered units in its Boulevard Townhomes.

UGI presented the Housing Authority with an Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EE&C) rebate check of more than $92,000 to help fund the upgrade.

The EE&C rebate program is one of several ways UGI helps customers across its service territory reduce energy consumption and lower utility costs through more efficient equipment.
