Are You Prepared Training Program

The goal is to insure you can respond “Yes!” when asked the question “Are you prepared?” when it comes to natural gas and electric safety. Listed below are the available training opportunities:

Online Natural Gas & Electric Emergency Response Training

Provided by RTUE (Responding To Utility Emergencies) and accredited by the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy

The modules can be taken individually, when convenient and result in a certificate for a passing grade. Each online module takes approximately 3 hours to complete. The modules can also be taught as part of the Local Level Training Program by a certified Fire Instructor or at a state ETA (Educational Training Agency).

Annual Review of Pipeline Emergency Response Procedures

Provided by Paradigm Liaison Service

The training is done in an interactive environment with a group of your peers. They do this to raise awareness on behalf of a consortium of pipeline and natural gas distribution companies, such as UGI and schedule these evening sessions in County clusters throughout the state.
