Why install boiler reset controls?
Boiler reset controls adjust water temperature based on outdoor conditions and will lower burner output when heating demand is low. Adjusting the boiler’s operation to the outdoor temperature, instead of a simple set point, lowers gas usage, has fewer starts/stops, and results in smoother operation. This upgrade can improve system efficiency and extend equipment lifespan. These controls are a cost-effective upgrade, especially when a full boiler replacement is not required.

How to Get Your Rebate:
1. Check Your Eligibility
This program is currently available to existing and new UGI gas residential customers in Pennsylvania with a rate class of R, RT, N and NT. UGI gas customers in Maryland are currently not eligible.

2. Find a Contractor
Contact an HVAC contractor to install your boiler reset controls. UGI has provided an HVAC Contractor Locator Tool to help find trusted contractors in your area.
3. Claim Your Rebate
Now that your new boiler resent control furnace is installed, apply online or print an application to mail in to claim your rebate.
The application must be submitted along with a copy of an invoice showing: Manufacturer, Model Number, Quantity, and Total Price Showing Full Payment Made.
*Program is open to UGI residential gas customers in Pennsylvania who install qualifying residential equipment prior to September 30, 2026, pending available funds. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation.
