LIURP
Weatherization Program
Low Income Usage Reduction Program (LIURP) provides energy saving improvements to qualifying households to help reduce their utility bills and/or usage.

Determine Eligibility
To determine your eligibility, please fill out the LIURP interest form or contact UGI at 1-800-UGI-WARM (1-800-844-9276). For additional questions or inquiries, email LIURPteam@ugi.com.
CAP and LIHEAP participants who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the LIURP program, participants must have:
- An active UGI residential gas heating or electric account
- 12 consecutive billing periods
- Higher than average gas or electric usage within the past 12 months
- Gross Annual Income guidelines:
- UGI Gas and Electric customer’s gross annual income within 200% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines.
- If renting, written permission from the landlord to proceed
After the Home Energy Evaluation, the following conservation services and/or equipment may include:
- Insulation
- Air sealing
- Heating system repairs
- Furnace clean, tune, and safety inspection
- Door and window caulking and weather stripping
- Carbon monoxide and smoke alarms
- Possible refrigerator repair or replacement (Electric customers only)
What happens if you are approved?
- Your LIURP Contractor will contact you to set up an appointment
- An in-home energy usage evaluation will be conducted, and your LIURP Contractor will provide recommendations for weatherization measures.
- Once UGI Utilities approves the recommended measures, the LIURP Contractor will return to your home to perform weatherization and educate you on ongoing energy conservation.
