Direct vent gas fireplaces may be an efficient secondary heat source for your home. With sealed-combustion occurring with only outside air, indoor air quality is maintained while providing the warmth of a real flame. Direct vent fireplaces are safe, easy to use, and provide instant supplemental heat. This allows you to lower your thermostat in the heating season while staying warm in your most used space.
How to Get Your Rebate:
1. Check Your Eligibility
This program is currently available to existing and new UGI gas residential customers in Pennsylvania with a rate class of R, RT, N and NT. UGI gas customers in Maryland are currently not eligible.

2. Start Shopping Around
Shop for a 70+ AFUE direct vent gas fireplace.
3. Find a Contractor
Contact a licensed contractor to install your fireplace and connect the equipment.*
4. Claim Your Rebate
Now that your new energy efficient fireplace is installed, apply online or print an application to mail in to claim your rebate.
The application must be submitted along with a copy of an invoice showing: Manufacturer, Model Number, Quantity, and Total Price Showing Full Payment Made.
*Program is open to UGI residential gas customers in Pennsylvania who install qualifying residential equipment prior to September 30, 2026, pending available funds. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation.
