Up to a $1,250* Mini-Split Heat Pump Rebate

Purchase and install an ENERGY STAR® mini-split electric heat pump. Mini splits make good add-ons to houses with "non-ducted" heating systems, particularly for customers who have electric baseboard, oil, or propane heat. They will handle your heating and cooling needs, thus eliminating the need for window air conditioning units in the summer months. This product is small in size and has the flexibility for zoning or heating and cooling individual rooms.

*Use chart below to determine rebate value of your mini-split heat pump

6,000 to <24,000 (1/2+ ton)

19+ SEER $200 $400 $600 $800 $1,000
21+ SEER $250 $500 $750 $1,000 $1,250

$150 Central Air Conditioner Rebate (SEER 16+)

Purchase and install an ENERGY STAR® electric central air conditioner. Central air conditioners circulate cool air through a system of supply and return ducts, help dehumidify incoming air, and are more efficient than window air conditioners. In addition, they are out of the way, quiet and convenient to operate.

How to Claim Your Rebate:

Applicant must be a residential customer of UGI Electric.

Once your new energy efficient appliance has been installed, apply online or print an application to mail in and claim your rebate.

The application must be submitted along with a copy of an itemized invoice showing: Retailer name, Purchase and/or Install Date, Description, Manufacturer, Model, Purchase Price, and Proof of Payment

What does SEER Mean?

SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) is the ratio of cooling produced divided by the amount of electricity used. The higher the SEER, the more efficient your equipment will be.

Customers who are income-qualified may be eligible for free, comprehensive usage reduction services. To learn more about enrollment in UGI’s Low Income Usage Reduction Program (LIURP), please call 800-UGI-WARM.
