ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostats help you save money on your heating and cooling bills while still keeping your home at a comfortable temperature. While system designs vary, common smart thermostat features include:

This program is currently available to existing and new UGI gas residential customers in Pennsylvania with a rate class of R, RT, N and NT. UGI gas customers in Maryland are currently not eligible.

Order on UGI'S Online Marketplace and get rebate instantly.
Receive an instant $50 rebate by creating an Online Marketplace account and purchasing your smart thermostat online. Please note this account is different from the UGI Online Account Center Billing Portal. Shop now.
Look for the ENERGY STAR® logo.
Shop for an ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostat at a local store or on the ENERGY STAR® Product Finder. Then apply online or print an application to mail in to claim your rebate.
*Program is open to UGI residential gas customers in Pennsylvania who install qualifying residential equipment prior to September 30, 2025, pending available funds. Applications must be submitted within 90 days of installation.
Customers who are income-qualified may be eligible for free, comprehensive usage reduction services. To learn more about enrollment in UGI’s Low Income Usage Reduction Program (LIURP), please call 800-UGI-WARM.
